'The most terrible ever': Trump lashes out at Time's 'super bad' cover picture.

This is a positive feature in a publication that the president has long exalted – but for one catch. The magazine's cover photo, Trump declared, "may be the Worst of All Time".

Time's paean to Trump's role in mediating a ceasefire in Gaza, featured on its November 10 cover, was presented alongside a image of the president captured from underneath and with the sun behind his head.

The effect, Trump claims, is ""extremely poor".

"The publication wrote a fairly positive story about me, but the picture may be the lowest quality in history", he shared on Truth Social.

“My hair was erased, and then there was something floating my head that looked like a floating crown, but very tiny. Really weird! I have always hated being photographed from below, but this is a super bad image, and it merits criticism. Why did they choose this, and why?”

The president has expressed no secret of his desire to appear on Time’s cover and did so four times last year. The obsession has made it as far as his golf courses – years ago, the publication requested to remove fake issues shown in a few of his establishments.

The most recent cover image was shot by a photographer for Bloomberg at the presidential residence on October 5.

The shot's viewpoint highlighted negatively his chin and neck area – a chance that the governor of California Gavin Newsom took advantage of, with the governor's office sharing an altered image with the offending area blurred.

{The living Israeli hostages in Gaza have been released under the first phase of Trump's ceasefire agreement, in exchange for a freeing of Palestinian inmates. The arrangement may become a signature achievement of the president's renewed tenure, and it could mark a pivotal moment for that part of the world.

At the same time, a defense of his portrayal has been offered by an unexpected source: the communications chief at Moscow's diplomatic office stepped in to condemn the "self-incriminating" picture decision.

It's amazing: a photo exposes those who selected it than about the individual pictured. Only sick people, people obsessed with malice and animosity –perhaps even perverts – could have picked this picture", the official posted on Telegram.

Considering the favorable images of Biden that the periodical displayed on the cover, even with his age-related challenges, the case is self-damaging for Time", she said.

The answer to his queries – what were Time’s editors doing, and why? – could be related to innovatively depicting a sense of power stated by a picture editor, Guardian Australia’s picture editor.

The photograph technically technically is good," she notes. "They selected this photo because they wanted the president to look impressive. Gazing upward evokes a feeling of their grandeur and Trump’s face actually looks reflective and almost a bit ethereal. It’s not often you see images of the president in such a peaceful state – the image has a softness to it."

His hair looks erased because the light from behind has washed out that area of the image, generating a radiant circle, she explains. Even though the article's title marries well with his facial expression in the image, "it's impossible to satisfy the person photographed."

Nobody enjoys being shot from underneath, and even if all of the conceptual elements of the image are very strong, the appearance are unflattering."

The Guardian reached out to the periodical for a statement.
