In the wake of a pivotal victory at the Lusail Grand Prix, the Red Bull driver has significantly reduced the margin in the title race. The shift began with significant performance updates introduced by his team at the Monza. Modifications to the car's floor and front wing finally addressed persistent handling problems, allowing Verstappen to feel comfortable with the car once more.

Following those upgrades, his form has been utterly dominant, securing five victories and multiple podiums. He made sure to highlight the teamwork behind this comeback.

"We have achieved victories where maybe the odds were against us, by executing the correct decision as a team," he noted. "The partnership with my team on the pit wall and the every member... we are really well integrated."
